Pearl Children Care Centre in Uganda was founded by its curator, Nkonge Bossa, to take care of children in need. We have set up this site in order to assist Bossa in his efforts to take care of the children.
Uganda is a country in strife. With people being killed daily, more and more children are orphaned as a result. Without proper care, most of those children will suffer from hunger and exposure, and then, probably die. While the staff and volunteers at Pearl Children Care Centre are doing what they can to make a better life for these kids, they need more.
More help, more resources, more facilities, which means they have a constant need for more money. There is a donations button on this site, should you care to help by making a donation.
Or, if you prefer to make a purchase, we are offering items for sale and we are donating profit from each sale, or 100% of each donation to the pearl children, minus money handling charges.
Either way, you are going to feel good deep inside, because you helped some children.

| Getting money to Uganda is not an easy or a cheap task. It is best done in larger amounts. Therefore, we do some fund raising on behalf of the Pearl Children Care Centre, with Bossa’s knowledge and permission, and pass it on once we have accumulated more than a couple of hundred dollars. That way the charges and fees along the way don’t eat such a large percentage of the amount being transferred. If you make a large contribution, the transfer process is initiated as soon as we receive notification that we have received funds for the centre. The product codes tell us the sale/gift is from the Pearl Children site, so they are easily identified. | |
